Watt Communities acquired a total of 2.9 acres of a former church site in 2013. The area was surrounded by mostly single-family residential homes with a thriving retail and commercial artery less than 1 mile away. At the time of the acquisition, the church was looking to expand and Watt Communities saw the opportunity to provide homes in a highly desirable area of Fullerton, CA.
Watt Communities successfully entitled, designed, and constructed Willow Ridge – a collection of 17 single-family detached homes featuring a community tot-lot, bbq, picnic area, and recreational trails. After reducing the number of planned homes, Willow Ridge was approved unanimously by City Council and successfully sold out in 2018.
